The new processors will support WQXGA resolution (Wide Quad Extended Graphics Array) of 2560x1600 which coincides with the resolution of the tablet rumored to be worn by 11.8-inch Samsung "P10". The existence of this tablet are known through court documents Apple versus Samsung patents.
For comparison, the screen "Retina Display" of Apple's New iPad has a resolution of 2048x1536. That is, if viewed in theory at its pixel density, WQXGA resolution greater than Retina Display.
Besides these new processors will be equipped with a graphics processor (GPU) quad-core ARM Mali-T604 of the OpenGL ES 3.0 support, OpenCL 1.1, and DirectX 11. ARM designs the GPU is said to be able to produce quality graphics console-class PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, and be able to run 1080p video at 60 frames per second speed.
The main processor pair is made with 32 nm fabrication process High-K Metal Gate, and set speed 1.7 GHz. Base architecture is ARM Cortex A-15, similar to that used by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor S4 "Krait".
To support this new processor performance, Samsung LPDDR3 installing RAM speed to 800 MHz that can stream data at 12.8 GB per second. There is also support for USB 3.0 interface and SATA-III.
Samsung claims that Exynos 5 Dual two times faster than the previous generation processor, 1.4 GHz Dual Exynos 4. Meanwhile, lower power consumption 30 percent compared to processors made with 45 mm fabrication process.
Korean manufacturers have not explained what will be the product driven by Exynos 5 Dual.
