Nexus S Don't Get Android 4.2

Nexus S Don't Get Android 4.2

Samsung and Google worked together to launch the Nexus S smartphone in late 2010 ago. Initially, this phone comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.

After two years there, the Samsung Google Nexus S is now getting twice the operating system updates on a large scale, with the Jelly Bean Android 4.1.2 as the latest version is present on the device.

After the update, users began to hope that Google was kind enough to bring back the latest update, Android 4.2, in such devices.

Unfortunately, these hopes have vanished. According to Jean-Baptiste Queru, the head of Android developers, Google will provide the latest updates to these older devices.

According to GSMArena, most likely the decision was taken because it was "his old" hardware that carried the Nexus S. Currently, if the rumored Nexus S, using the operating system Android 4.1, has had to work harder than usual.

With only 512MB of RAM, it is believed that the Nexus S will work much harder when using Android 4.2.

In addition to the Nexus S, the HTC device users also worthy disappointed. All Android devices launched in 2012 and has 1GB of RAM under certainly will not get the update Android 4.1.

"In general, devices with 512MB RAM or less will not get an upgrade Android 4.1," said HTC is quoted from Ubergizmo.

In other words, although launched this year, HTC will not get the V One update to the operating system Jelly Bean. HTC One V has 512MB of RAM.
