Conservative Party in Britain said the plan cuts taxes by 25 percent for the video game industry that will be effective in April 2013. Purpose of this policy is to encourage the growth of gaming and animation industry in the UK.
Based on the Conservative Party website, plan an effective tax cut on 1 April 2013 is expected to drive the industry further in order to compete with other countries. Human resources are expected to be helped again owned by the policy.
With the tax cuts, the benefits received by the gaming industry is to reduce the financial risk in producing a new game. Thus, the new studio grow increasingly easier to produce their games. Established game studios can allocate more of their capital to improve the quality of the staff.
The scheme has been done for the film industry and the results are fairly positive. Of course, the requirements to get this ease tight enough because it involves experts from the UK.
In addition to tax cuts, the UK Government also set up 6 billion pounds for 3300 training of experts in the video game industry, television, and animation.
