Japanese game console manufacturers, Sony has announced that PlayStation 4 will reportedly release later this year. Not to be outdone by Sony, Microsoft is also rumored will unveil its latest flagship gaming console, Xbox 720 (Durango) on 26 April 2013.
Reported by Spong, Monday (25/02/2013), Rob Crossley from CVG (Computer and Video Games) revealed that one of his anonymous sources have suggested specific details about the announcement of a new generation of Xbox.
"Event next Xbox will be scheduled on April 26. I have been told by someone who is reliable," wrote Rob via Twitter Chirp. However, the possibility Microsoft could just change the date.
If this information is correct, then the successor to the Xbox 360 game console will be officially announced approximately two months after the announcement of the Sony PlayStation 4. April feels is the right time for Microsoft to unveil Xbox 720.
This is because the company is headquartered in Redmond, the United States is to avoid "clashing" with the show GDC (Game Developers Conference), held 25 to 29 March 2013. Gamers are expected to await the next update some time to come.
