Android Best Seller, Samsung Still Number One

Google Android and Samsung currently leads the market share in operating systems and vendors in the world. Apple and LG was behind it.

Based on the results of research conducted by comScore for three months, from February to May 2012, Google Android gain market share at most, approximately 50.9 percent. The position is up 0.8 percent compared to February.

With this position, means the Android operating system is used most widely sold in vendor-vendor world. Then, followed by Apple (31.9 percent), Research in Motion (11.4 percent), Microsoft (4 percent), and Symbian (1.1 percent).

Look at the data, BlackBerry and Symbian OS getting dropped. Both recorded a decline, RIM is greater than Symbian.

On the vendor side, Samsung remains the king of mobile world. South Korean vendors are holding a market share of number of mobile users around 25.7 percent. Then followed by LG (19.1 percent), Apple (15 percent), Motorola (12 percent), and HTC (6.1 percent).

Samsung's market share did not move significantly during the last three months. Unlike with Apple, which rose 1.5 percent over the previous three months.
