Students from Middlesex University, UK, has designed a smartphone made of bamboo. Yes, you read that right, from bamboo! The plan of this smartphone will be released in the UK and Europe the end of 2012 this. Wow.
Kieron-Scott Woodhouse who was 23 years old designing this smartphone in the spare time after he was frustrated by the lack of variation in the smart phone market. Smartphone named ADzero is made of four-year-old bamboo, which is maintained because of its strong durability.

ADzero estimated that only half the weight of the heavy work with the Apple iPhone and Android operating systems. Camera features a flash ring flash with a circular shaped around the camera lens to ensure a stable illumination and minimize shadows. Ring flash is not available on other mobile devices.
The selection of bamboo as a mobile phone casing because it was originally intended for the China market, and Woodhouse wanted to use a stronger material that can be produced locally. This smartphone is also made of only one type of material.
After receiving a good impression at the London Design Week 2011, Woodhouse decided to post his smartphone designs online and was contacted by Adzero, who wants to realize his ideas in practice.
Smartphone is rumored to be sold at retailers and specialty boutiques in the UK who have interest in a matter of design. Unfortunately, the price has not been announced.
"Bamboo as a material which may seem odd for a smartphone, but it is actually very strong and have good endurance. The quality is perfect, "said Kieron-Scott.
"All experience has been truly amazing, and completely unexpected. I can not wait to see this smartphone in stores ".
